Amber Carlton

Amber Carlton  Is a Luxury Collection Specialist serving Moorhead Minnesota,  Minneapolis, Minnesota and surrounding areas including lakes country in Minnesota.

My mission is to help people achieve their goals. I am passionate about customer service! With an extensive background in this industry before the attainment of my career in real estate. My focus is to always give the highest quality of attention, respect, diligence, loyalty, dedication, and appreciation to my clients.

I grew up in Breckenridge, MN which is just outside of the Fargo, ND area. Every year we spent the summer in lakes country Minnesota, usually at Otter Tail Lake where I am blessed to have my own lake property now. Spending time at the lake in the summer with my dog Daisy is my favorite thing to do. Experiencing lake life in the summer in Minnesota is something I hope everyone gets to do in their lifetime.

In 2012 I obtained my real estate license and quickly realized this career is the only career I ever hope to have. To be able to help people achieve the goals they want to accomplish in regard to real estate has been incredibly fulfilling. In 2016 I started getting involved in my local association FMAAR - Fargo Moorhead Area Association of Realtors, where I am now the current President of our board of directors. I am also very involved and a director for NDAR - North Dakota Association of Realtors board of directors. The ability to truly create and implement positive change for our members and our consumers is incredibly empowering.

Over the years, involvement in our community has become a huge part of who I am. I help out wherever I can, the organizations that I serve the most are; Prairie Heights, Sunshine Kids, Feed My Starving Children, Spare Key, Rebuilding Together, Habitat For Humanity, the Ronald McDonald House, and The United Way.

In an industry that is continuously changing, additional education is crucial. I have attended many courses to be able to best serve my clients and obtained these designations through NAR - the National Association of Realtors;  AHWD - At Home With Diversity, C2EX - Commitment to Excellence, e-PRO - tech, GRI - Graduate Realtor Institute. These simply help me raise my professionalism and provide even better service to my clients.

To me, relationships are the most important, not numbers or sales. I want my clients to be extremely happy with the guidance I provide them. Life-long clients and friends are the business I am building. My mission is to help you achieve your goals. Whatever it is you need help with and however long it may take, I am here for you. I can't wait to help you buy, sell and invest in Real Estate.

Things to Do in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Theater and performing arts

The Guthrie Theater originated as an alternative to Broadway

Minneapolis has hosted theatrical performances since the end of the American Civil War.  Early theaters included Pence Opera House, the Academy of Music, Grand Opera House, Lyceum, and later the Metropolitan Opera House, which opened in 1894.  Fifteen of the fifty-five Twin Cities theater companies counted in 2015 by Peg Guilfoyle had a physical site in Minneapolis. About half the remainder performed in variable spaces throughout the metropolitan area.

In his social history of American regional theater, Joseph Zeigler calls The Guthrie Theater the "granddaddy" of regional theater. Tyrone Guthrie founded the Guthrie in 1963 with an inventive thrust stage—a collaboration by Guthrie, designer Tanya Moiseiwitsch, and architect Ralph Rapson —jutting into the seats and surrounded by the audience on three sides.[290] French architect Jean Nouvel designed a new Guthrie that opened in 2006 overlooking the Mississippi River.  The design team reproduced the thrust stage with some alterations, and they added a proscenium stage and an experimental stage.

Minneapolis purchased and renovated the Orpheum, State, and Pantages Theatres, vaudeville and film houses on Hennepin Avenue that are now used for concerts and plays.  Another renovated theater, the Shubert, joined with the Hennepin Center for the Arts to become the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts, which represents more than 20 performing arts groups.
